WLT established itself in the former VEB TISORA clubroom (Dresden branch) in the North of Dresden.

1993
Abandonment of the PC solution and implementation of the ERP system and the accountancy into a modern IBM – AS 400.

Introduction of a quality management system with successful ISO certification as one of the first Saxon companies in the industry.

1997
Move to modern office buildings and storage depots in the industrial area known as “An der Eisenbahn” (without street address at the time) in Dresden. 
Introduction of the paperless office by developing a new workflow management system with electronic means of archiving.

1998
Creation and registration of the private brand “WLT” – Made in Germany.

2000
Profound increase of inventory and development of assembly and test work spaces for special applications.
ompletion and implementation of complex modernisation orders for electro-mechanical handling systems in the high-tech industry as a service partner.

Implementation of a balanced scorecard as a strategic value-oriented control system for family businesses.

Testing and registration of Wälaplex 2 H1 with NSF-International (US agency) including admission as lubricant for use in the foodstuff-processing industry.

Advancement of the level of specialisation in the area of special designs for individual applications. 
Beginning of the constructions of modern MCAD workplaces, with 3D-development software

Development of a modern test facility for non-destructive testing of ball bearings

2009
Implementation of an air-conditioned space for test and measurement.
Establishment of the innovation platform “Innosurf” for applications of nanotechnology, together with other saxon technology companies from the region.
ISO certification (DIN EN ISO 9001:2008) extended around the area of ??development. 

2010
Carrying out customer trainings in the assembly / disassembly of bearings with demonstration tools

2011
Application for a patent in the field of bearing technology.
Commissioning of a linear-service center for linear guides.
