NBR Premium Ball Bearing Units - Japanese Industrial Standard
The premium ball bearing units of the NBR brand are designed like deep groove ball bearings and have inserts which are sealed on both sides e.g. with Perbunan or Viton.
NBR ball bearings are manufactured at the increased level of quality
ABEC3/P6. For naturally, their quality is constantly checked according
to DIN ISO 2859-1. Furthermore the development ant the production are in
accordance with DIN EN ISO 9001: 2008 and recently certified again.
Because of maximum quality requirements, high reliability and an
attractive price-performance NBR ball bearings represent an interesting
alternative in the market.
They are mounted in housings of different designs and can be delivered in a range of materials, such as:
- Roller bearing steel 100 Cr 6,
- stainless steel AISl 440 C (1.4125)
- or polymer.
There is also a choice of materials and versions available for the housings, for example:
- Grey cast iron GG,
- nodular iron GJS (GGG),
- stainless steel AISI 304 (1.4301),
- polymers in different colours.
The
inserts are supplied with a filling of special roller bearing grease in
the factory, which means that under normal working conditions they
remain maintenance-free throughout their service life, just like
standard deep groove ball bearings. This does not apply, however, to
inserts which are exposed to extreme loads (high temperature, low
temperature or environmental influences); special lubricants are available for these heavy-duty conditions.
NBR ball bearing units are suitable for a flexible range of uses and
meet a wide range of different requirements. They are most frequently
used in the following industries: special engineering, conveying
systems, apparatus engineering, agricultural machinery and packaging
machines.
Rust-resistant housing
Stainless steel housings, stainless steel sheet, galvanised sheet steel, chromated, polymers (green, black, white).
Special designs
Inserts with double lubrication
The NBR – NTN – SNR benchmark test
The engineers Professor Sturm and Partner, with headquarter in Dresden,
conducted the following comparative test for a ball bearing from the
trademark „NBR“ to verify that a qualitative statement on their
performance potential was possible.
