Stainless steel deep groove ball bearings

The outstanding property of stainless steel is its corrosion resistance against humid air and numerous other media. For this reason, deep groove ball bearings made of stainless steel provide a sensible alternative for numerous fields of application. Their running properties are comparable with those of bearings made of normal roller bearing steel, but their load-bearing capacity is around 20% lower than that of deep groove ball bearings made of roller bearing steel since stainless steel is less hard. 

The design is also analogue to the standard deep groove ball bearing made of roller bearing steel (100 CR6). Inner race and outer race have deep raceways without filling grooves and a narrow bevelling plane between the raceways and the balls. This enables them to support radial and axial loads in both directions, even where higher rotational speeds are involved. 

The stainless steel deep groove ball bearings are available in sealed (rare application) and open version for shaft diameters of 1 mm to 60 mm.
